AMKB carries out inspections for compliance with collective labour agreements (CLA) and undeclared work inspections within the construction industry. AMKB is active in the cantons of Basel-Landschaft, Basel-Stadt and Solothurn.
As part of the re-branding, a new website was also created.
A dynamic modular system: The letters A, M, K and B are placed in square brackets. The brackets are reminiscent of building blocks. At the same time they symbolise – in an abstract way – the gesture of two hands protectively wrapped around an object, because one of the core tasks of the AMKB is to protect the CLAs (collective labour agreements).
The individual "building blocks" can be arranged on top of and next to each other, based on a geometric grid. So the logo works horizontally as well as vertically or arranged as a square (or even as a wallpaper pattern!).
The website is a consistent implementation of the AMKB branding. The home page consists of a grid of building blocks. This serves as an overview and navigation through the content of the website.
In the structure of the website, particular attention was paid to ensuring that it meets the high demand for information. AMKB does a lot of educational work. The website is therefore an important source of information for companies, employees and the public. In addition to a clear structure, flexibility was therefore also a central requirement for the website. The AMKB team can publish, adapt and delete content in any area of the website at any time with little effort.
The branding of AMKB allows the building blocks to be thematically charged with symbols. Stars, for example, are well suited for a Christmas card or bubbles for an anti-virus gel package (see picture of prevention campaign). This flexibility gives the visual identity a sympathetic and human touch and reflects the "spirit" of the staff. AMKB attaches great importance to its team acting and reacting with common sense in a friendly and professional manner in every situation.
