The Institute for Swiss and International Tax Law (ISIS) has been organising high-quality seminars in tax law for over 20 years. Every year, a comprehensive catalogue of 1 or 2-day seminars is offered. Since 2021, ISIS has also offered online events as interactive webinars. The content of the seminars is mostly taught in workshops through the discussion of case studies.

The success of legal education is based on a network of important stakeholders. In addition to the interests of participants, the needs of speakers, organisers, partners and staff must also be taken into account. A successful strategy is based on listening to all groups.
Using the speakers as an example: They are obviously key to the success of the event. Good speakers convey interesting content and thus serve the clients of the organiser. Their reputation is important for selling the seminars. If the speakers are known, this enormously helps in marketing. Therefore, one task in the present project is the ongoing optimisation of the experience of the speakers at the ISIS seminars. On the one hand, this involves simplifying organisational and administrative processes. On the other hand, for many (note: not all!) speakers, the visibility associated with their commitment is also important. Before and after the seminars, it is also important to position the speakers visibly as experts.
Clients' needs and interests keep changing. It is important to apply the different elements correctly: Access to information, networking, location, certificates, etc. Depending on the weighting, different products can be created. In addition, the Corona pandemic has accelerated a development: the demand for virtual access.
Today, ISIS offers a varied catalogue of seminars and webinars. The formats range from purely face-to-face events to hybrid seminars and online-only training. These are used in a targeted manner and optimised on an ongoing basis.

For a long time, the ISIS seminars were advertised by sending out printed flyers. The home office obligation associated with the Corona pandemic had a strong effect. Customers could no longer be reached by post. Fortunately, we have succeeded in expanding and optimising digital communication over the last since 2020. People have responded to this communication and have continued to turn up in large numbers to the seminars – virtually and, where possible, physically.
Communication needs to be continuously improved. HeadStarterz implements the communication for the ISIS seminars in close cooperation with the institute in terms of graphics, technology and content.
